Big Pharma, With the Questionable Help of Facebook, Is Watching

Worried about online privacy? You should be. To help target and sell ads - Big Pharma already spends about $1 billion on them - Facebook has quietly partnered with data-mining company Datalogix to track what 70 million Americans households buy at over 1,000 retailers, including drugstores. If you don't want Facebook to know when you buy tampons at your local CVS, you can opt out, though it's a somewhat labyrinthian process.

Or just always pay in cash. I can't see how you can get out of it  if a prescription is involved though.--jef
