DALLAS - Did you feel the earth move? A minor
earthquake was reported near the Preston Hollow area of Dallas just
after midnight Friday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The USGS recorded a 2.0-magnitude earthquake centered on Northwest Highway near Sunnybrook Lane -- that's between Inwood and Midway Roads, about three miles east of Love Field Airport.
Although the tremor was minor, it was deep -- measuring about 3 miles below the earth's surface, geologists say.
So far, there have been no reports of damage.
