It is primarily used as a method for filesharing, but with the advent of Web 2.0 and the increasing likelihood that net neutrality will be defeated by corporate greed & censorship, darknet seems to be the way to go to share news and information in the corporate big brother future I foresee.
Remember: never trust corporate media, no matter how similarly their news is to your views. And when you see endless coverage of celebrity deaths, funerals, or scandals, ask yourself this question: "what's happening that I'm missing because of all this silly nonsense? What are they not telling me by showing me this?"

We live in an age in which corporate ownership muddies the concept of objective reporting. No media outlet will trash the actions of its ownership no matter how "independent" they claim to be.
My blog will be mainly discussions of world events, lots of news articles, movie and comic and book reviews, updates on both Spiderlegs and Big City Gang Bang Productions music, and whatever else comes up. Hopefully, it will be worth reading.
