Dunno If We Should Laugh Or Cry Dept: It seems that fewer people watched the sorry spectacle that was the Republican National Convention than watched Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the gross offshoot of the equally gross Toddlers & Tiaras, from the-once-laughably termed The Learning Channel, wherein an insufferable, redneck, money-hungry, Red-Bull-and-Mountain-Dew-chugging child is "pageant-whored-out by her obese mother" in a gasp-inducingly cheesy show that has been termed "exploitation squared." Full disclosure: Never seen it, never will. Fuller disclosure: Not sure we have the stomach to even ponder what all this says about the state of the nation.
